Beyond analyzing case studies, many trainers aim to broaden their overall skill set. For example, I frequently collaborate with newer trainers who seek confidence in managing aggression or reactivity but require additional guidance. Some trainers are eager to master a new tools like while others feel overly reliant on such tools and wish to diversify their methods to better serve their clients. Even seasoned trainers often grapple with imposter syndrome and harbor uncertainties about specific training aspects.

To address these needs, we utilize a blend of case studies, recorded sessions, and Q&A segments. I provide specific homework and action items and then review videos of your training sessions. Building confidence in a new training area is a gradual process, and the virtual format offers substantial benefits. This will often spam over weeks and months in lieu of just a one off virtual interaction.

Data Centered Training Approach

I've provided behavior and training for 12 years and spent the past 6 years collecting data from myself and my colleagues that I use as case studies, and any available behavioral science study to answer complicated behavioral questions. My background is not limited to any methodology and my main focus has been in behavior modification. I take a creative approach to problem solving complex behavior issues that takes into account: Environment, genetics, behavioral history, breed, human needs, and more.

I leverage not only my anecdotal case studies but that of my clients and my colleagues as well so that way we never hit a road block with any dog or human.

This is the biggest complaint I hear from trainers I work with. "I can't get my client to follow-through."

Conditioning and convincing clients to do the work when you're not there is an art that takes a high level of emotional intelligence, charisma, and teaching skills. It involves getting clear about client goals and ensuring each lesson together is providing confidence building for the dog and human equally.

My rule of thumb is this, if it's not possible it's not realistic. This phrase keeps my lessons realistic to my target client and it ensures all parties are getting their desired outcome.
